Do ADHD Symptoms Continue into Adulthood?

TXT Neck

A new study has found that 60% of children with ADHD demonstrate symptoms into their mid-20s. Adults who show signs of ADHD often aren’t aware of their symptoms, but friends and family of participants noted that they still observe ADHD behaviors in their loved one. Dr. Margaret Sibley explains, “By asking a family member about the adult’s symptoms and using adult-based definitions of the disorder, you typically find that around half of children with moderate to severe ADHD still show significant signs of the disorder in adulthood.”
